A Few Words
About Us
Special Educational Needs and Disability Aid (SEND Aid) is a UK registered charity focussed on providing children, young people and adults with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) in the UK and abroad with medical, educational and social relief. We promote the shared vision of wanting all individuals with SEND to lead happy and fulfilled lives.
Our work will also aim to advance the education of BAME communities concerning SEND, in order to address cultural and social misconceptions that exist locally and internationally.
Aim:
For the public benefit, to relieve the needs of those with SEND and their families anywhere in the world, with a focus (but not exclusively) on beneficiaries from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) backgrounds in order to tackle disadvantages that particularly affects someone who is of this protected characteristic, and in particular (but not exclusively) by providing access to free education and medical care.
